Kalwun Jarjums Playgroup supports and enhances learning in young children with a strong emphasis on play-based learning.
This FREE service provides a central community point for those with young children to build and develop relationships, support each other and access important child and parent related information with a strong cultural connection.
The program provides:
- a family-friendly centre approach
- a collaborative approach to each child’s social and emotional wellbeing
- guest speakers, excursions and interactive sessions.

Kalwun Jarjums Playgroup is for parents/carers of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children aged 0–5 years.
