Kalwun Health Service recommends and provides immunisations to clients.

To make an appointment for your/your child's immunisations, contact your local Kalwun health clinic.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children are at increased risk of serious diseases and get extra immunisations for free through the National Immunisation Program.

Immunisation prevents serious illness, disability and death and is important for both the person being immunised and the whole community.

For the best protection, children need to receive every immunisation on time. Immunising on time is vital to keep not just your kids but your whole mob protected from disease. The timing of each dose of every immunisation has been carefully planned to best protect your child and other children. Delaying immunisation could leave your child in danger of contracting diseases.

Following the childhood immunisation schedule is very important—you can find this and other information on immunisation at immunisationfacts.gov.au
