Kalwun Community Care Service offers a Wellness Centre located in the tranquil surrounds of the Bonogin Valley.
Located on a ten acre property and surrounded by well-kept gardens, greenery and a dam, it is the ideal facility to relax and recoup.
You can come and kick back or be involved in the variety of weekly programs and activities on offer including, but not limited to:
- arts and crafts
- aqua exercise
- BBQs
- bingo
- bowls
- hairdresser (visiting)
- light exercise
- shopping
- day outings.
Wellness Centre clients are also treated to weekly day-trips.
For client convenience, the centre also has a range of visiting medical services including a fitness trainer and occupational therapist.
Home-made morning tea and lunches are also provided.

Eligibility
The program is for people aged 65 years and over (50 years and over for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people).

To access this service you will need to contact My Aged Care. Visit www.myagedcare.gov.au to find information about aged care and accessing the services that are right for you or call the My Aged Care contact centre on 1800 200 422 from 8am – 8pm Monday to Friday and 10am – 2pm Saturday (your local time, no matter where in Australia you live).
